New York Times features story on historical impact of UCSC's Grateful Dead Archive

The front page of the March 11 Arts section of the New York Times featured a story by Larry Rohter about UCSC's Grateful Dead Archive and its historical impact and value.

The piece quotes Music Department Chair Fredric Lieberman and the Library's Head of Special Collections Christine Bunting--as well as several historians, sociologists, and other academic researchers from across the country.

The print edition included a number of large color images of archive materials, plus a link to an online slide show.
