IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE STUDENT HEALTH CENTER CLINIC 2/26/2010 AND 3/1/2010
Due to developments in the building renovation project beyond our control, the UCSC Student Health Center will be closed for medical and pharmacy services on Friday 2/26/10 and Monday 3/1/10. In order to assist students with urgent medical problems that arise during these Health Center closure days, we will staff our Medical Advice Line on Friday and Monday from 9 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (831) 459-2591. After hours medical phone advice can be obtained by calling 1-800-977-0027. Crisis Clinic, Counseling, Psychiatry, SHOP and Rape Prevention Education will be open for usual services during this time at their Kresge College locations.
We regret the inconvenience that this closure will cause students. We are confident that the renovated facility will be more welcoming and convenient for students and apologize for the interruption in access that the remodel has caused.
For those students who need medical evaluation prior to our re-opening on Tuesday 3/2/10, local urgent care centers off campus have been notified of our closure and are available to see UCSC students with illness or injuries.
