2009 Thumbs Up Awards

The Staff Advisory Board is pleased to again sponsor the UCSC Thumbs Up Awards. A "Thumbs Up" Award is a small form of recognition that can be given to an individual UCSC staff member, a team, or an academic in an administrative role (Dean, Dept. Chair) for special service she or he has rendered as a member of the campus community. Each nominee is a winner!

With budget cuts happening virtually everywhere at UCSC, the funding for this awards program was also reduced this year. We will not be sending the small token gift that was sent in the past, but we will be sending recipients a beautiful certificate of appreciation that they can proudly display at their workplace.
