Senior management group policies - formal review

The University invites your comments on the formal review of the following five policies which were approved by The Regents on February 5, 2009:

1) Senior Management Group Hiring Bonus

2) University-Provided Housing

3) Senior Management Group Automobile Allowance

4) Senior Management Group Moving Reimbursement

5) Senior Management Group Relocation Allowance

These policies were developed as part of the ongoing review of the University's policies and practices on senior management compensation that was initiated at the request of The Regents in response to the findings of the Task Force on UC Compensation, Accountability, and Transparency. They represent a subset of the overall framework of policies related to senior management compensation at the University and are intended to strengthen recruitment efforts by aligning the University with market competitive practices.

The Senior Management Group Hiring Bonus policy is new, while the other policies have been revised. The policies, as well as a summary of key changes, are posted here.
