"What Now?" video-UCSC professors assess impact of presidential election

In anticipation of the inauguration of America's 44th president, we invite you to watch a podcast of a recent event in San Francisco featuring two UCSC political experts.

After the November election, John Dizikes (professor emeritus of American Studies) and Dan Wirls (chair of Politics Department) took part in a post-election luncheon presented by the University Relations Road Trip outreach program.

Moderated by the San Francisco Chronicle's deputy editorial editor Lois Kazakoff (a 1976 Cowell College alumna), the panel discussed the impact of the election of Barack Obama and what the future might hold.
