Support for students affected by the wildfires burning in southern California

All of us are deeply concerned about the wildfires burning in Southern California and want to extend our support and sympathy to members of the UCSC community who are personally impacted by the wildfires. Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) is reaching out to extend our services to those who have been impacted by the events of the past week. If you are worried about loved ones, your family has experienced property loss or damage, or if your family has been evacuated, please note that counseling services are available to all registered students.

CPS is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Students may contact CPS during regular work hours by visting the office located in Kresge Annex B Room 101, or by calling (831) 459-2628. For further information about CPS, please see our website at http://www2.ucsc.edu/counsel

The CPS After Hours Crisis Service is available to registered students Monday through Friday 5 pm to 8 am and 24 hours on the weekend by calling (831) 459-2628.

CPS is also available to provide debriefing meetings and Stress Management workshops upon request. Please contact the CPS central office at 459-2628 for information.
