Hacker Associates AIA, the architectural firm UCSC collaborated with to create the Humanities buildings, was selected for a Merit Award by the Portland AIA for the campus's Humanities building complex.
The design of the new facility delicately places the buildings within the lush natural environment of the campus, while creating a strong identity and campus presence for the newly consolidated Humanities Division.
