The City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department has alerted TAPS that paving of Bay Street between Escalona and the campus is underway, with completion anticipated this week. One critical area of work -- the Bay/High intersection at the Main Entrance to campus -- is moving toward completion, but requires occasional redirection of inbound and outbound traffic from now through Thursday. Public Works staff recommend that campus commuters traveling through the West Entrance consider detouring onto Western Drive between High and Mission, in order to avoid delays at the Bay/High intersection. Please note that Meder and Nobel are currently closed at Bay Street because of construction.
