We are saddened at the death of Cowell student Sergio Zamora, who passed away at his home on April 9. Sergio entered Cowell as a first-year student in the fall of 2007 and had taken a leave of absence for winter quarter due to serious illness. Friends and teachers of Sergio are invited to a memorial event in his honor, to be held at the Cowell Provost House on Friday May 9 from 2 to 3:30 PM. Please come by the house to celebrate his life and to meet Sergio's parents, Ana and Juan. Sergio's family would welcome photographs or stories of his time here at UCSC.
