The UCSC Arboretum will be conducting a controlled agricultural burn on Thursday April 17, from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., weather permitting. The burn will take place at the North East corner of the New Zealand Garden (near the western edge of the farm).
Some drift smoke will be generated in the area. However, the materials to be burned have been divided into smaller piles to allow for faster and cleaner burning.
