The UCSC Farm is enrolling members in this year's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. By purchasing a "share" of the season's harvest, members receive a box of fresh-picked, organic fruits and vegetables every week for 22 weeks.
Members pick up their shares on the UCSC Farm on either Tuesday or Friday afternoon, beginning the first week in June, weather and crops permitting. Members can supplement their shares with herbs and flowers from the CSA garden.
A share costs $440 for the season, the equivalent of about $20 per week. Payment can be made in full or in two or four installments. A limited number of low-income shares are available at half the cost of a regular share.
