Banff Mountain Film Festival screens at the Rio Theater Feb. 29-Mar. 1

Ignite your passion for adventure, action, and travel! The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will exhilarate and amaze with big-screen stories when it comes to the Rio Theater in Santa Cruz on Friday, February 29, and Saturday, March 1. The program begins at 7 p.m. each evening.

The festival, which benefits the UCSC Wilderness Orientation Scholarship Fund, invites the viewer to journey to exotic locations, paddle the wildest waters, and climb the highest peaks. To download a complete list of the films, go to the UCSC Recreation web site.

Tickets are priced at $12/students and seniors ($14 at the door) and
