The Seventh Annual UC/CSU/CCC Sustainability Conference will be held July 31-August 3 at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Conference organizers are seeking posters and presentations from students, faculty, and staff. Registration for the conference begins in March.
The conference will bring together over 850 students, staff, faculty, and administrators in California higher education to explore ways to implement social, environmental, and economic sustainability on campuses statewide; prepare future generations for "green collar" jobs; and bring sustainability to campus practices, policies, and contemporary culture.
Presentations and posters that relate to the conference theme of "Putting Sustainability to Work" through policy, broader partnerships, and collaborations, and through building a green economy and workforce are especially encouraged. Session proposals are due by February 26; poster proposals should be submitted by June 1.
