UC president visits campus

University of California President Bob Dynes visited UC Santa Cruz November 1 for a series of meetings with the UCSC Academic Senate. Dynes met with senate leadership, the Committee on Planning and Budget, and the Senate Executive Committee. He also attended a faculty discussion in the afternoon and a dinner for about 40 faculty members and administrators at University House. Accompanying Dynes were Michael T. Brown, chair of the UC Academic Council, and Kate Callen, Gretchen Kalonji, and James Stofan of the UC Office of the President.
