Annual Business Operations Customer Surveys

I am writing to request your participation in the annual customer satisfaction surveys for Purchasing and the Staff Human Resources (SHR) Service Teams. These online surveys will run until Friday, June 15. To take these surveys, please point your Internet browsers to the following addresses:

Each survey should take less than ten minutes. Results of the surveys will be posted on the Business and Administrative Services (BAS) web site (http://bas.ucsc.edu/performance) by July 13.

As most of you know, the Business Transformation Program that took place in 2005-06 resulted in the consolidation of several business functions: purchasing, staff human resources, vendor payment, and employee reimbursement. The three central organizations that now provide these functions -- Purchasing, Staff Human Resources, and the Financial Administrative Services and Transactions (FAST) Office -- have now been operational for eighteen months. During that period, their staff have attempted to provide campus constituents with the services they need to carry out the university's mission. Now is your opportunity to tell Purchasing and Staff Human Resources how they're doing. (The FAST Office survey will be sent out to approximately 200 randomly selected users in June.)
