The men's tennis team, which is ranked number one in the nation in Division III, will play the winner of Friday's Hardin-Simmons v. Redlands match at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5. At 2 p.m on Sunday afternoon, the winner of that game will play the winner of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps v. Pacific Lutheran game for the right to move on to the quarterfinals.
The campus is also hosting the women's water polo DIII National Championships this weekend. Eight teams will compete in two brackets of four teams. The UCSC women's water polo team, ranked ninth in the most recent National Collegiate Women's Division III poll, plays on Friday, May 4, at 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and also on Saturday, May 5, at 8 a.m. Winners continue to advance to May 6.
There will be a nominal charge for admission to the women's water polo games; no admission will be charged for the tennis matches. Parking is available for both events at the East Remote Lot, and it is free on weekends. For Friday events, visitors must purchase a day permit at the kiosk at the main entrance to campus.
