The internationally acclaimed Aquila Theatre Company will perform an educational outreach event at the Mello Center for 500 Watsonville High School freshmen and 200 Pajaro Middle School eighth graders. The company will present a "guided tour" of Romeo and Juliet--an hour-long program with both narration and acted key scenes from Shakespeare's most famous play.

Details: This event is being sponsored by generous donations from South County businesses: Driscoll's, Granite Construction, Graniterock, and Maureen Wruck Planning Consultants. The outreach event precedes a full-length performance later that evening at 8:00 pm, which will be presented by UCSC's Arts & Lectures in conjunction with Shakespeare Santa Cruz.
