A "Thumbs Up" Award is a small form of recognition that can be given to an individual UCSC staff member, a team, or an academic in an administrative role (dean, department chair) for special service she or he has rendered as a member of the campus community. Each nominee is a winner.
Note: Student employees and faculty are not eligible.
Here is how it works: Go to: http://sab.ucsc.edu/thumbsup/ and fill out the web form.
The web-based nominations will be accepted through February 12. Nomination(s) must be received by 5 p.m. that day.
If you do not have access to a computer, a paper nomination will be coming out via campus mail. Paper nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on February 8.
