4:30 p.m.: Demonstrators continue to block the main entrance to campus at Bay Drive and High Street. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Those leaving campus should expect heavy traffic, as all cars are being routed through the west entrance, which remains open.
3:10 p.m.: The main entrance to campus at Bay Drive and High Street remains blocked by demonstrators. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. The west entrance to campus remains open, with vehicle traffic being routed to Western Drive.
1:35 p.m.: Demonstrators continue to block the main entrance to campus at Bay Drive and High Street. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. The west entrance to campus remains open, with vehicle traffic being diverted to Western Drive.
12:50 p.m.: All lanes of the Bay/High intersection remain blocked. Please avoid the area. Metro routes currently picking up and dropping off as per the following:
10 - High at Laurent
18 and 20 - Western at Flower
15 and 19 - Bay at Escalona
12:04 p.m.: All lanes of the Bay/High intersection are fully blocked. Please avoid the area. Westside connector cancelled. Modified loop route now running.
11:55 a.m.: Demonstrators at the base of campus have blocked the main entrance to campus. Be advised that transit service on campus has been disrupted. Santa Cruz Metro is currently not entering campus and campus transit is now running on a modified schedule. Expect delays and plan accordingly.
