UC Santa Cruz welcomed more than 9,000 residential students to the campus community during this year's "move-in," which was scheduled about a week before the beginning of the fall 2018 quarter.
Nervous students and their parents checked in at designated parking lots, then began the process of moving in to their new campus housing.
