Campus Solutions and MyUCSC will be merged July 10

Major improvements to Campus Solutions and MyUCSC will be implemented over the July 8 weekend. MyUCSC will be merged with Campus Solutions, the system administrative offices use to support campus functions like enrollment, billing and admissions. The consolidated system will retain the MyUCSC name and branding, and get a complete navigation redesign.

The new navigation is more intuitive and customized for specific user groups, including applicants, students, faculty, advisers and staff. Users will automatically be assigned homepages based on these five campus affiliations that link to the most commonly-accessed pages.

What to do now to prepare for this change:
If you haven’t done so already, be sure to edit your bookmarks to remove all characters after “https://my.ucsc.edu” so that the bookmark will function both now and on July 10.
If you have MyLinks or Favorites saved in MyUCSC that you don’t want to lose, take note of them now so you can add them to the new interface on July 10. Favorites saved in Campus Solutions (ais-cs.ucsc.edu) will not be impacted.

What to do on/after July 10:

  1. Log in at https://my.ucsc.edu
  2. Peruse the Adviser and/or Staff Homepages to familiarize yourself with their contents.
  3. Check out the My Messages tile, which will be used to disseminate MyUCSC-specific campus messages to faculty, staff and students.
  4. Add tiles to the homepage of your choice (optional for administrative offices). See the Personalizing MyUCSC video tutorial linked above for instructions.
  5. Search for and re-add any Favorites that you had in the previous version of MyUCSC. See the Personalizing MyUCSC video tutorial linked above for instructions. This is not needed for Favorites saved in Campus Solutions.
