Astronomer Greg Laughlin was quoted in a "best space photos ever" story that originated on Space.com and was picked up by Mashable and Huffington Post.

KSBW broadcast an interview with psychology lecturer Don Saposnek on a new book he co-wrote, Splitting America, How Politicians, Super PACs and the News Media Mirror High-Conflict Divorce. Reuters, the Wall Street Journal, and Marketwatch.com have also written about the book.

Testimony in a Lake County murder trial from Alison Galloway, campus provost and executive vice chancellor, was reported in the Lake County News and Willits News. Galloway testified in her capacity as a forensic anthropologist. 

Psychology Today wrote about research by psychology professor Jean E. Fox Tree and graduate student Kris Liu into linguistic hedges. Their paper was published in the October issue of Psychonomic Bulletin and Review.
