Randy Wells

Dolphin researcher Randy Wells (Ph.D. biology, '86), an adjunct professor of ocean sciences at UCSC, is considered one of the preeminent dolphin researchers in the world.



He is the founder and longtime manager of Mote Marine Laboratory's Dolphin Research Program and has directed or co-directed more than 150 marine mammal projects, penned or co-written four related books, and completed 100-plus journal articles and book chapters.
