Job opportunities for students

To: Undergraduate Students

From: Barbara Silverthorne, Career Center Acting Director

In this tight job market, the Career Center is working hard to connect

students with hiring employers and career development opportunities. We

encourage all students to explore multiple Career Center resources.

We invite you to take advantage of the Non-Profit Social Service and

Government Fair on January 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the College 9/10

Multipurpose Room. Career Center Fairs are a critical resource for students

resulting directly in job offers. The 22 employers attending the fair are

offering full-time, part-time and summer jobs in addition to internships.

For more information and a list of employers and their offerings please

visit the Career Center fair web page:

The next opportunity for a Career Fair will be April 28. The Last Chance

Job and Internship Fair will include all types of employers. Please take

full advantage of the job fairs by using the Career Center in preparation

and for follow-up. We encourage you to enhance your marketability in this

challenging job market by taking advantage of Career Center offerings:
