The UC Santa Cruz Colligan Clinical Diagnostic Lab hopes to identify life-saving treatment options for childhood cancer patients using innovative new next-generation sequencing tests. Now that it has received its official CLIA certification, it will be able to begin running one such test on patient samples. This important milestone is bringing the Treehouse Childhood Cancer Initiative closer to its ultimate goal of making RNA analysis a new standard of care for pediatric cancer. |
