Five UC Santa Cruz projects win California Climate Action Grant funding

Five UC Santa Cruz projects secured a total of more than $9.5 million in funding through the University of California's California Climate Action Grants. Three faculty members received additional subawards totaling more than $2 million. The funding will support UC Santa Cruz and partners in tackling some of California's toughest climate change challenges through innovative research and community engagement.
