The fossils in coral reefs off the coast of Hawai'i provide a record of past climate conditions, so a team of scientists co-led by Christina Ravelo, an ocean sciences professor at UC Santa Cruz, are using them to learn about environmental changes throughout geologic history and make predictions about the future. |
