Connecting across difference

For ten weeks, 14 undergraduates and 28 Soledad students studied and discussed writings about nonviolence, racism, colonialism, toxic masculinity, and poverty. The experience was the result of a collaboration with UC Santa Cruz, College Ten, Soledad Prison, and Barrios Unidos, a Santa Cruz-based youth-violence prevention program.
