Harry Noller, the Sinsheimer Professor of Molecular Biology, is the winner of a $3 million Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences for revealing how complex molecular machines called ribosomes translate genetic code and build the proteins in all living cells. A congratulatory campus reception is scheduled for noon Friday, Dec. 9, in the plaza outside the Science and Engineering Library. |
