ALUMNI UPDATES
William Long (College Nine ’11, music; M.A. ’13) has been named the 2022 Arts Division Distinguished Graduate Student Alumnus.

Conductor William Long (College Nine ’11, music; M.A. ’13), named the Arts Division Distinguished Graduate Student Alumnus, conducts opera and symphony productions for award-winning composers—and says the campus played an instrumental part in preparing him to seize every opportunity.

Alumni Association Scholarship recipient Michelle Pichardo Munoz (College Nine ’22) says she uses the scholarship to help with necessities like groceries and the cost of her commute from her home in San Jose to campus.

The founders of the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund are using the occasion of its 30th anniversary to increase philanthropic support in the scholarship, setting a goal of raising $100,000 from alumni.
