Wildfire in Wilder Ranch
CalFire and Santa Cruz fire agencies are fighting a wildfire that is about a mile north of campus in Wilder Ranch. There is no threat to campus at this time. However, people should be prepared in the event that changes.

Wildfire relief grants awarded to employees, students

Post-fire building assessment now complete
Effective immediately all facilities on the residential campus can resume their pre-evacuation status. The only activities that may resume are those that had been approved prior to the Aug. 20 evacuation through the COVID-19 resumption approval process.

Next phase of building resumption – additional buildings cleared to open
Effective immediately, the following buildings have been cleared by Chancellor Larive to reopen. These locations may only resume operations that were in effect on Aug. 20, 2020, prior to the campus emergency declaration, and approved through the COVID-19 resumption process.
