Notice of new policy: Interim Major Events
The Division of Finance, Operations, and Administration has launched a new Interim Major Events policy—effective for all events on or after September 1, 2025—that expands and replaces the previous student-focused policy to better coordinate large campus gatherings through a centralized planning website, event calendar, and updated approval process.

UC Santa Cruz’s CITRIS Initiative for Drone Education and Research (CIDER) is offering a Summer Pilot Training Program that provides hands-on drone training and research opportunities in agriculture and climate science for students, along with FAA certification support and a $1,200 stipend.
