Under the Million Light Bulb Challenge community buy program supported by UC’s Carbon Neutrality Initiative, all UC students, staff, faculty and alumni can purchase light bulbs at nearly half the price of online competitors.

Regents approve lease for temporary university house
With the current University House deemed uninhabitable, UC President Janet Napolitano recommended that a property be rented near the main campus to house the incoming chancellor and host small dinners and events for fundraising and celebrating faculty and student success until University House is rebuilt.

UCSC United Way Campaign: May 13th-24th 2019
Through their Community Resources United Way serves UCSC students and staff with programs such as 211, Emergency Food and Shelter and the Stuff the Bus program which provided 200 backpacks to Cabrillo and UCSC students last year.
