Password Change Notice for UCSC Google Apps Coming August 26
Starting Monday, August 26, you will access all UCSC Google Applications using your Gold Password. This means you will no longer be able to access UCSC Google Applications using your Blue password.

The UC Santa Cruz Police Department would like to thank our campus community for your assistance and for exhibiting calm during Wednesday’s investigation of a report of a possibly armed person on campus. Your calls alerted us, then helped us determine there was no danger or threat.

Kresge College renovation parking and traffic impacts
Campus will begin construction on the renovation and refresh of Kresge College at the end of August. The project is scheduled to continue through 2023.

ITS Announcement | Zoom Desktop Client Update
A recent Zoom update may have caused some users to be signed out of the Zoom Desktop Client (App). This results in the user receiving the following message “Error: You are not authorized to start the meeting using the credentials you are signed in with” when attempting to host a Zoom meeting.

Campus Site License for Microsoft Office
ITS is pleased to announce that in response to feedback, the campus has funded a site license for Microsoft Office 365. The new campus license provides Office for work or personal computers at no charge for all faculty and staff in addition to the already free license for students.
