Canvas remains unavailable at this time
Based on UC’s evaluation, Canvas access remains unavailable at most UC campuses, including UCSC, at this time.
Dear Campus Community,
The UC Office of the President (UCOP) is determining when it is safe to restore Canvas at each UC campus based on specific security and operational needs. Based on their evaluation, Canvas access remains unavailable at most UC campuses, including UCSC, at this time.
We are awaiting final guidance from UCOP and anticipate that access may be restored over the weekend. We will communicate with the campus immediately once restoration is approved and the system is available.
UC’s priority is ensuring a safe return to service. We will continue to monitor the situation and share more information as it becomes available. Ongoing status updates can be found on the UC status page.
