SAB Staff Appreciation Picnic – Save the date and tabling information
Please save the date- Monday, May 11 – for the annual SAB Staff Appreciation Picnic and Raffle. We are excited to welcome you all to this event to celebrate everyone’s hard work this year.

Please save the date – Monday, May 11 – for the annual SAB Staff Appreciation Picnic and Raffle. We are excited to welcome you all to this event to celebrate everyone’s hard work this year. Please let us know if you are planning to attend by filling out the RSVP form by Friday, April 17 so we can prepare the appropriate amount of food with as little waste as possible.
Date – Monday, May 11, 2026
Time – 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location – Quarry Amphitheater
Menu – California Dreaming (Gluten-free and vegan options will be available)

We are also looking for organizations that would like to table at this year’s picnic. Tabling is available to internal UCSC organizations that are on-campus, staff-focused departments and programs. Please note, space is limited. To apply for a table, please fill out this Google form. Applications are due by April 11 and organizations will be notified of their participation by April 18. Questions can be directed to ucscSAB@ucsc.edu.
We can’t forget the raffle! If you wish to participate in this year’s raffle, you MUST complete an RSVP. Even if you can’t make it to the picnic, you may still enter the raffle in the RSVP form.
If you or your department would like to donate a prize for this year’s raffle, please email ucscSAB@ucsc.edu.
In an effort to remove barriers to participation, there will be:
- Three ADA parking spaces in the 102 lot at Quarry Plaza
- Shuttle service from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. between…
- East Remote lot (interior and exterior stops)
- Cowell Metro stop on Hagar Dr. near Quarry Plaza
For those desiring a closer parking space with no shuttle service, consider lot 111A at Crown/Merrill and 101 at Hahn.
