Upcoming campus visits for CPEVC finalists

I invite everyone in our campus community to participate in the process and provide feedback on the finalists.

Dear Campus Community,

Beginning Monday, Feb. 9, we will be conducting final interviews in the search for Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor. I invite everyone in our campus community to participate in the process and provide feedback on the finalists.

Each finalist will make a campus visit and meet with various campus constituencies. In addition, each candidate will give a public town-hall-style talk on their vision for the Office of the Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, and a separate academic talk. The talks are open to all in our campus community. A moderated Q&A session will be held after each talk. Those participating in the search process will have the opportunity to provide feedback through a survey. There will also be an opportunity for students to meet with finalists over lunch, which will be provided.

Visit schedules and information on the town halls and academic presentations are available on the CPEVC recruitment website. The names and resumes for each candidate will be posted on the site one week before their campus visit. You will need to be signed in to your UC Santa Cruz account to access this information. To respect candidate privacy and the integrity of the process, please do not share candidate names, CVs, visit schedules, or related links outside of the UC Santa Cruz community.

We look forward to meeting the finalists and appreciate your input, as the CPEVC plays a key role on our campus, serving as both our chief academic officer and administrative lead.

Sincerely,
Cindy

Cynthia Larive
Chancellor
