Conference Services is excited to announce the launch of the new UC Santa Cruz Spaces Directory, now live at spaces.ucsc.edu. This easy-to-use website makes finding and reserving campus venues simpler than ever. Whether you’re looking for a quiet study lounge, a meeting room for your group, or a venue for a large event, Spaces brings together a wide range of options for students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.
What you’ll find in Spaces:
- Spaces for every occasion: More than 50 options, including 12 study lounges, 12 meeting rooms, 7 event centers, 21 outdoor venues, and classrooms (when not in use).
- Clear policies: Guidelines that ensure fair and inclusive access for all.
- Helpful resources: Contact information and support to guide you along the way.
The Spaces Directory is more than a list of rooms—it’s a tool to help our campus community connect, collaborate, and create meaningful experiences. From student organization meetings to academic panels and cultural celebrations, Spaces makes it easy to discover what’s available and accessible. Explore the directory today at spaces.ucsc.edu. Additional campus locations will continue to be added, so check back often to find the perfect place for your next gathering.
What’s changed?
Before, campus space reservations were managed across many different sites and units, including the individual Colleges. Now, Spaces brings them together in one directory for the first time. The system is supported by Conference Services, which continues to provide professional event planning and large-scale conference support.
