Three UC Santa Cruz alumni—Marizza Delgado, Aviv Elor, and Ash Robbins—were named in Forbes 30 Under 30, featuring the world’s most influential young entrepreneurs, artists, celebrities, and influencers.

Currently holding the crown for Miss New York USA, Marizza Delgado is a New York City-based engineer, model, and advocate for women in STEM. During her day job, she works as a data scientist at Rent the Runway. As a model, Delgado has posed for brands like H&M, L’Oréal, American Eagle, and Lululemon, and was featured in Vogue Philippines.

Delgado (Rachel Carson) graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2021 with a degree in technology and information management.

Aviv Elor and Ash Robbins were featured in Forbes 30 under 30 together as the co-founders of Immergo Labs.

Their company uses artificial intelligence and virtual reality to help physical therapists to work via telehealth with patients anywhere in the world. Immergo Labs has raised about $1.5 million for its technology that collects data during the appointment and uses AI to auto-generate notes for the therapist to review.

Elor (Crown) graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2019 with a bachelor’s in robotics engineering and in 2021 with a Ph.D. in computational media. He works as an adjunct professor of computational media on campus.

Robbins (Cowell) graduated from UCSC in 2018 with a bachelor’s in robotics engineering and in 2026 will complete a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering.
