Spring 2026 Campus Elections: ballot information and voting details

Student participation in campus elections is vital to ensuring a vibrant, representative, and inclusive campus community. By voting, students select future leaders and help shape key decisions affecting student life at UC Santa Cruz.

The Spring Campus Elections will commence on Monday, May 4, providing an important opportunity for students to help shape the future of UC Santa Cruz. This year’s ballot includes campus-wide student leadership candidates and student fee measures—all critical to advancing student priorities and strengthening campus life.

Voting information

Campus Elections will be conducted entirely online via the elections webpage. Students can cast their votes beginning at noon on Monday, May 4, 2026 through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026. Eligible students can log in using their Gold ID and Gold Password to access the ballot. A QR code will also be available to allow easy access from mobile devices.

Accommodations

Students needing accommodations to participate in the election process should contact the Dean of Students Office via email no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 2026.

Eligibility

Voting is open to all currently registered undergraduate and graduate students for Spring (based on third-week enrollment records). Students who need assistance with their Gold credentials should contact the Office of the Registrar at 831-459-4412.
