Vice Provost for Academic Affairs Christina Ravelo and Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Anju Reejhsinghani invite Senate faculty to take the Senate Faculty Support Survey to share their thoughts and concerns regarding their experience as a faculty member at UC Santa Cruz during the last three years.

The survey is designed to help Academic Affairs and the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) understand how to improve their programs that support faculty research, teaching, and service.

The survey opened on Monday, April 27. Faculty can complete the survey by Monday, May 18.

The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary. Institutional Research, Analytics, and Planning Support (IRAPS) is administering this survey and will keep identities private. Responses will not be personally identifiable; results will only be reported at the group (aggregate) level.

The survey was developed in collaboration with the Academic Affairs, ODEI, and IRAPS teams, including Christina Ravelo, Anju Reejhsinghani, Dadao Hou (Director of Policy and Planning, ODEI), Suzanne Alonzo (Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs), Michael Tassio (Assistant Vice Provost for Educational Innovation), Anna Sher (Director, Assessment for Learning Excellence and Equity Center), Cinnamon Danube (Senior Institutional Research Analyst, IRAPS), and Randy Uang (Senior Survey Research Analyst, IRAPS).

Faculty can contact vpaa@ucsc.edu if they have any questions about the survey’s purpose and goals; for technical assistance, contact IRAPS at surveys@ucsc.edu.
