In memoriam: Dennis Wake
Dennis was a well-loved member of the UCSC Dining team and dedicated over 22 years to feeding the campus community.
It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of longtime UCSC Dining Chef, Dennis Wake.
Dennis dedicated over 22 years to UCSC Dining before retiring last summer. Throughout his time with us, he was a valued and well-loved member of our community. He took great pride in his work, providing countless memorable meals while also mentoring employees and building friendships that will endure well beyond his years with us.
Dennis’s impact on the Dining team and the people he worked alongside is immeasurable. He will be deeply missed.
For those who wish to join us in honoring his life, there will be a viewing on April 17 and a memorial service on April 18.
