The campus has revised the INTERIM Conduct Regulations on Time, Place, and Manner (TPM) in response to a revision to the directive from President Drake. The changes are effective as of November 27, 2024, and clarify guidance regarding masking to conceal identity (section IV. 4.-5.).
This policy was developed to comply with requirements outlined in SB 108 (June 2024), and in furtherance of having clear communication, UC Santa Cruz provides notice to its stakeholders of policies that protect student, staff, and faculty safety, access, and operations while promoting and supporting free expression.
Due to this update, the Division of Finance, Operations, and Administration has extended the comment period through December 18, 2024. Comments may be sent to the Policy Coordination Office at pco@ucsc.edu by the close of business on December 18, 2024.
