The 2024 CITRIS Interdisciplinary Innovation Program (I2P) is currently open for submissions. The deadline for applications is August 15, and project teams must include at least two UC Santa Cruz PIs from different academic disciplines. The CITRIS I2P program provides seed funding for faculty research with a focus on strengthening interdisciplinary connections here on the Santa Cruz campus. Through the program, the program is designed to support early-stage research that furthers CITRIS and the Banatao Institute’s mission of developing information technology solutions to significant societal challenges, and has a strong promise of securing external funding.
