The continuing student housing application period for 2024-25 university housing opened Monday, Feb. 26 and closes Monday, March 4.
This year, the continuing student room selection process will be conducted via a lottery open to all eligible continuing students. The Room Selection Lottery will be completed across a series of passes throughout the month of April. For each pass, the order by which eligible students can access the 2024-25 Room Selection process will be determined by a randomized lottery.
To be eligible for the Room Selection Lottery students must meet both of the following conditions:
- Continuously live in university housing during winter 2024 and spring 2024 quarters.
- Re-apply for Fall 2024 university housing during the housing application period (Feb. 26 - March 4).
Eligible students interested in living in university housing next year, should log in to the Housing Portal and submit their application before the March 4 deadline.

It doesn’t matter if you are first or last, as long as you apply by March 4!
