Bike race to partially close Hagar and Coolidge on April 9

A bicycle race at UC Santa Cruz will close the northbound lane of Hagar Drive and the southbound lane of Coolidge Drive from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 9th.

Vehicles needing to cross the northbound lane of Hagar Drive or the southbound lane of Coolidge Drive should be prepared for possible delays. The southbound lane of Hagar Drive and the northbound lane of Coolidge Drive will remain open to form a counter-clockwise loop for vehicles.

METRO buses will be re-routed through the west entrance and will make stops at all counter-clockwise stops.

Both entrances to campus will remain open. Motorists and other travelers should be aware of the activity that will be happening on the east side of campus. Please use caution if driving on campus as there will be increased bicycle and pedestrian traffic in and around the race course area."
