Recruitment for campus police chief underway

The search for a new chief of police to lead the UCSC police department is underway.

A representative search committee is engaged and evaluating a broad pool of applicants for the position. Initial screening interviews of highly qualified candidates will take place via Zoom in the coming weeks, and the top ranked candidates from those interviews will be invited for on campus visits and additional interviews.

During the campus visit by these finalists, the campus community will be invited to meet and provide feedback on the candidates via virtual open forums.
