Santa Cruz Launchpad is UCSC's annual pitch contest combined with Santa Cruz Works' job fair. This year's event will be held on June 1 at the Cowell Hay Barn. Student teams are invited to apply and will receive two weeks of coaching on their pitches prior to the event. Qualifying teams will be eligible for over $40,000 in prizes!
Who should apply?
• Open to all student startup teams
• Open to all departments, research areas, and degree programs
• Open to all business models
• Founding team must have at least one 2021/22 student
• Non-traditional founders are strongly encouraged to apply
Deadlines:
• May 11- First Round Applications due
• May 13- Semifinalists Announced
• May 16-20- 1st take pitches and workshops
• May 23-27- 2nd take pitches and workshops
• May 30- submit recorded video pitches and final pitch deck
• June 1- Pitch competition First round 1-4pm Finalist 6pm
