Search for Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Success now underway

The leadership recruitment for Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Success has begun. The position drives UC Santa Cruz’s campuswide commitment to promote equity, inclusion, and a sense of well-being for all students, enabling them to thrive academically, professionally, and personally.

University Librarian Elizabeth Cowell and Vice Chancellor of Business and Administrative Services Sarah Latham are co-chairing the search committee. The executive search firm Witt Kieffer is supporting the campus in this national recruitment by developing a diverse pool of qualified candidates and facilitating engagement with the campus community throughout the process. 

Jennifer Baszile has served as interim Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Success since July 2020, and has agreed to continue serving through the successful conclusion of the search.
