To support the existing processes surrounding the installation of artworks in common areas, the Interior Artwork Installations policy will be implemented on an interim basis.
The display of public artwork enhances community and culture while providing equitable opportunity and access to view inventive content that supports the university mission of teaching, research, and public service.
The policy is effective immediately and applies to all UC Santa Cruz properties, including the Coastal Science Campus, Scotts Valley Center, and Silicon Valley Extension.
The Policy Coordination Office will continue to accept comments before finalizing the policy this fall. If you wish to provide feedback, please email pco@ucsc.edu.
